...design that integrates understanding of and alignment with ecological systems in its creation, placement, and fate in the built environment. It is design that strives to create as nature creates, using sustainable materials and creating conditions conducive to life.
In our explorations for this curriculum we focused three aspects of biodesign: biomaterials, biomimicry, and biosystems.
